Ridgefield Parks & Recreation wants to give your child a summer to remember. Campers (ages 3-13) enjoy the Spray Bay, swimming, sports, field trips, inflatables, games, art, science, and more. Join Music Together for a fun filled singing and dancing good time this summer ! 6 week and 3 week class sessions available starting June 21st for children ages 0 – 5 and those who love them. Siblings can attend class together too ! Our super flexible schedule allows you to plan around your vacation days. All registered families can attend UNLIMITED FREE BONUS AND MAKEUP CLASSES too !

Rhythm Kids one week camps are available for ages 4 – 7. Themes include Pirates and Princesses, Dr. Seuss, and The Lion King and more ! Come drum, dance and sing with us, learn songs and rhythm chants from around the world, and bring scenes from your favorite stories to life through crafts, song and dance.

Calling all young artists and creative minds! Join us at Camp Aldrich for a full-day, week-long arts experience with Museum educators and practicing artists. Weeks are themed and tailored to specific age groups for the ultimate creative learning environment for students entering grades 1 through 6. Campers will explore new materials, ways of working, and will create individual and collaborative projects inspired by their time spent in the Museum. On Wednesdays campers will walk into town for a local field trip. Each week culminates in a celebration for family and friends on Friday evenings showcasing the works that the campers have developed throughout the week.

Session 1: Young Creators Club (Grades 1-3); July 13 to 17

Session 2: Architects in Training (Grades 1-3); July 20 to 24

Session 3: Technical Magic: Drawing and Illustration (Grades 4-6); July 27 to 31

Each week is $350 per camper. Aldrich Family Members & above receive a 10% discount.

Camp Playland located in New Canaan provides fun for campers Ages 3-14 years.

Providing every child with a safe, warm, nurturing, fun and instructional summer has always been their mission. Playland is an all-around day camp with a mature staff on a beautiful 18 acre campus in New Canaan.

Ridgefield Kempo camps are thoughtfully designed to keep kids not only entertained while school is out, but interested in attending for the unique approach we provide for the agenda of the day. A camp day usually consists of games like Dodge-ball, Warrior Hockey, Nerf Gun Wars, Zombie Tag, and activities such as Video Games, Movies, Coloring, and of course Karate Classes!

This season marks the 46th year the equestrian farm is offering the Summer Horsemanship Program, a summer camp for area youngsters which offers unique opportunities to learn from qualified instructors.

Stepping Stone Farm children’s day consists of approximately one hour to one and half hours of formal horseback riding lessons.
