If you are a busy parent seeking a one-stop-source for all things Mom (& Dad) related, look no further. Ridgefield Moms is a hyper local platform dedicated to providing up-to-date information & references for everything kid related within the community.
Ashley Forte and Michele Moonan are the curators behind the social platform, Ridgefield Moms. Their chapter of The Local Moms Network is one of more than 100 locations across the country providing a hyper-local, integrated online platform with curated information and resources. The Ridgefield site was launched in the summer of 2018 and since then has steadily grown as connections to local businesses and households grow.
Before entering motherhood Ashley worked as a 5th Grade teacher at Farmingville Elementary School for nearly 14 years while also coaching basketball, soccer and volleyball at Ridgefield High School. Ashley currently is a board member and coach for SCOR here in town.
Michele was a fashion professional for many years in NYC for brands such as Chloè, Chanel & Vince. She is a giver in every sense of the word as she has served on various committees including military non-profit, Heroes in Transition as well as various PTA positions.
We run this site with the full intention to help other moms. From tips to tricks, our favorite go-to small businesses, thought provoking reads, opportunities to meet inspiring moms and business owners and everything in between.
