Summer is right around the corner and although things are running different from years past, many summer camps are still opening! We put together our 2nd annual Summer Camp Guide prior to the outbreak of Covid-19 and have since worked with our local camps to keep you updated with current offerings. However your Summer plans turn out, we hope it is a season filled with lots of memories and sunshine!

 

 

 

 

 

Summer Camps Available

Ridgefield Parks & Recreation is excited to be offering Summer Camp this year. To meet safety guidelines, camp registration is only available to Ridgefield residents entering grades 1-8.  You must register for one of the three options (dates cannot be modified).

Space is limited. Sign up today!
Option I: 7-week session: June 29 – August 14 (no camp 7/3)

Option II: 4-week session: June 29 – July 24 (no camp 7/3)

Option III: 3-week session: July 27 – August 14

All Summer Camp options run from Monday to Friday (9:00-4:00 pm) at the Recreation Center.

Springboard Diving Camp for kids ages 6-16 (August 3 – August 7)

Mad Science Spy Camp for kids entering grades 1-5 (August 17 – 21)
Tennis Clinics (ages 5-12) and Tennis Camp for kids entering grades 1-8 (August 17 – August 26)

$195 for your family 

Attend any day or time, once a week, once a day, skip a week… it’s up to you!  Our super flexible schedule allows you access to any of the classes listed below. Register for the summer semester and then attend any Mixed Age or Babies class you like! Register for a specialty class (Rhythm Kids, Canta y Baila Conmigo® and Family Ukulele and attend a mixed age class or babies class on an unlimited basis.)

Classes will be held on Zoom unless otherwise noted.

IN- PERSON, GROUP OUTDOOR SINGALONGS WILL BE ADDED AT NO CHARGE FOR REGISTERED FAMILIES!  (Space is limited, locations TBD)

CAMP PLAYLAND NEW CANAAN IS OPEN!!

With new guidelines in place, Playland New Canaan is offering a 3 week and 4 week session this summer beginning June 29th!! For more information, click here!

 

 

 

Ridgefield Kempo camps are thoughtfully designed to keep kids not only entertained while school is out, but interested in attending for the unique approach we provide for the agenda of the day. A camp day will consist of distance games like Dodge-ball, Kickball & lots of Fresh Air! No contact Karate Lessons, Equipment disinfected, Minimized snack time & Staff wearing masks to ensure everyone’s safety. Check out the website for additional information.

 

 

 

 

 

This season marks the 46th year the equestrian farm is offering the Summer Horsemanship Program, a summer camp for area youngsters which offers unique opportunities to learn from qualified instructors.

 

Stepping Stone Farm children’s day consists of approximately one hour to one and half hours of formal horseback riding lessons. All campers must wear a mask and no swimming will be offered this year.

Rising Starr Summer Camp

SUMMER RIDING PROGRAM

Summer Riding Program for beginners and younger riders. To follow safety protocols Rising Starr is only taking 15 students split into groups of 5. Spots left-register today!

The Summer Riding Program runs the following weeks Monday thru Friday: 9am to 1pm

Dates: June 29th-August 21st (1 to 8-week sessions)

Hours of Operation: 8am-9am is before care and 4pm to 5pm is after care at no additional cost. Our regular camp hours are 9am-4pm Monday through Friday. There are no observed holidays this camp season.

Ages: 3-13 years old for Day Camp: 14-15 for CIT (Counselor in Training) Program

Cost: $525 per week, sibling discounts apply.

Breakfast and Lunch are provided! We accommodate all dietary restrictions.

Get ready for the Ultimate Camp Experience! Holiday Hill Day Camp (HHDC) is not your traditional day camp. The wide variety of activities and experienced staff makes us the choice for kids who want the BEST summer ever. Activities include: Swimming, Water Activities, Cooking, American Ninja Warrior Course, Archery, Nature, Arts and Crafts, Boating, Fishing, Woodworking, Maker Space Cabin, Yoga, and High Ropes Course. In addition, HHDC provides attractive and nutritious meals to suit the needs of every camper. We are fully accredited by the American Camping Association (ACA) that assures parents we are committed to program quality and adherence to high health and safety standards.
