A labor of love created by owner Carolann Ruiz, located in City Center Danbury, just minutes away from both Ridgefield or Newtown. This philosophy is encompassed in all that they do in this beautifully renovated, meticoulsly maintained, serene escape.
Their philosophy focuses on revitalization and relaxation with an emphasis on non-toxic products. The goal is to create an environment that allows one to relax and maximize wellness and this certainly has been achieved. Upon our initial visit to the salon we were greeted with soothing music, blissful surroundings, friendly faces and impeccable services. Our manicures and pedicures both outlasted the typical longevity despite; dishes, gardening, chasing children and more!
As busy Moms, we are always looking for healthy, effective self-care and we certainly found it at Meraki Nails & Beauty. Owner, Carolann Ruiz explains, ‘Transparency is key! We take pride in further protecting the health of our clients by not only sanitizing and disinfecting our implements but also sterilizing them as well. This process completely eradicates any bacteria, fungi and viruses that can lead to infection. All stainless steel implements (cuticle pushers, cuticle nippers and nail clippers) are placed in sterilization pouches and inserted into the autoclave. Sterilization occurs when the autoclave reaches temperatures above 200 degrees. Once the sterilization cycle is complete we verify that the implements are appropriately sterilized by checking for color change within the sterilization indicators located in the pouches. Any tools that cannot be sterilized are considered one time use and discarded’. This is music to our ears and allows full relaxation knowing we are in good hands-literally.
