I have twin girls, Adelle and Aidan – who are ten years old!

One thing people would be surprised to learn about you…

I love, love, love playing video games! (With my kids!)

Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?

My husband, Mike Reed (he’s kind of a shoo-in for this answer!) 🙂

What is your favorite things to do with your kids?

Snuggle time, watching scary movies, shopping and hiking.

Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor

Yes – I started Lucky Plum Studio five years ago.  We provide digital and printed invitations, cards, accessories and stationaries for all occasions – from banners, to posters, stickers, thank you cards and more!  While we have customers in more than 20 countries in every continent except Antarctica, we believe in staying true to our roots, and shopping and supporting local business.  We are proud supporters and sponsors of the Farmingville Elementary School, Boys & Girls Club & Ridgefield Moms!

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?

Ridgefield is the land of close.  This town is close-knit, the stores and family activities are close – and it’s safe!  For me, that means far less distraction when working on creative ideas.  For my Lucky Plum business, it turned out that slow-paced was faster than fast-paced when it came to better productivity.
